Jimaniece “Gem” Berry is our Clinic and Operations Manager.  Gem obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations/Advertising and Health Education, and in Corporate Communications and Marketing from University of Houston.  She  plans to pursue her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in the near future. 

Gem has 15 years experience as a specialty pharmaceutical sales representative and is clinically trained in over 10 specialties, including, but not limited to weight loss, diabetes, endocrinology, women’s health, oncology, neurological, and psychiatry. She also has experience as a health educator in the biometric testing space,  and spent time as a faculty advisor and teacher at The University of Maryland.
Before her career in healthcare, Gem worked in politics for several years with former New York State Governor and Senator. As a community liaison and policy analyst, she was able to make a positive impact on healthcare policy and legislation.
Gem is also an advocate for mental health awareness. She was recently crowned United States of America’s Ms. Texas 2024. Through her pageant platform, “Total Sparkle: Beyond the Pill,” she is able to advocate for mental health awareness, raise money for local charities that assist those with mental health diagnosis and/or those in crisis! 
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, fishing, baking her famous peach cobble, traveling and hanging out with her 2 children at the beach!
